We will also visit El Valle de los Caídos (The Valley of the Fallen) to admire its famous Basilica and its impressive cross of 150 meters height. Our comfortable bus will pick you up at 9:00 am from the Madrid center. During all the trip you will be accompanied by the local guide.
Our first destination is Escorial, a palace built in the sixteenth century by the powerful king Philip II. You will see the architectural harmony and beauty of the Royal Palace, Pantheon of the Kings, an impressive Library and the Monastery. You will learn the most interesting cultural and historical facts from the entertaining story of our official guides.
Our next stop is located among the mountains of Guadarrama. You will explore the Valley of the Fallen, built to honor the victims of the Spanish Civil War. You will be impressed by its Basilica excavated in the rock of a mountain at 1350 meters above sea level, crowned by an honorable cross over 150 meters height.
